Sarah Gencarelli

Sarah Gencarelli is an American director, animation department, and additional crew member in the entertainment industry. Born on June 14, 1983 in San Francisco, California, she is best known for her work on Steven Universe (2013), Close Enough (2020), and Amphibia (2019).

As an animation department member, Sarah has worked diligently to bring life to the characters of her projects. In addition to her animation department duties, Sarah has also worked as an additional crew member, helping to bring the directors visions to life.

Sarahs work on Steven Universe earned her a nomination for an Annie Award in 2014. Her work on Close Enough was also nominated for an Emmy Award in 2020. These nominations are a testament to her skill as a director and her dedication to her craft.
